	Andúnië Andúnië was an important city and port in the realm of Númenor, located on the Bay of Andúnië in the Andustar region, on the western end of the island. Though not the capital, it was initially the largest city of Númenor because the Elves of Tol Eressëa would often visit the haven. In Second Age 630, Tar-Meneldur created the title Lord of Andúnië in honor of his first grandson, Valandil. Though not a direct part of the Royal Family, the Lords of Andúnië were important nobles and members of the Council of the Sceptre. Since Andúnië was an Elf-haven, the Lords of Andúnië were also the leaders of the "Faithful" — those who advocated continued friendship with the and obedience to the Valar. 	Eldalondë Eldalondë (Quenya elda "of the stars" + londë "land-locked haven") was a haven on the western shores of Númenor, at the mouth of the River Nunduinë. It was built in the middle of the coast of Númenor's great western bight, between the arms of the wide Bay of Eldanna, in the fragrant region known as Nísimaldar. Andustar

Andustar is the western promontory of Númenor, separated from the Hyarnustar to the south by the wide Bay of Eldanna. The Andustar formed a very roughly rectangular region, about 240 kilometres west to east, and 160 kilometres north to south. To the east, it bordered the Forostar and Mittalmar regions, but in all other directions it was surrounded by the ocean. The Andustar was a generally fertile region, except along its northern coasts, where the landscape became higher and rockier, and forested by firs. Its western shores were broken by three bays, with the northernmost of these being the Bay of Andúnië. On the high land around this bay, the Númenóreans built the port and city of Andúnië, whose Lords were to be the ancestors of the Kings of Arnor and Gondor.
