Tindomiel looked down, her hands in her lap, thinking. "What if that happens to me?" She asked worriedly. "What if a man seems nice, marries me then does what your first husband did? It makes me scared to marry." She said softly, looking up at them now.

"A man cannot forbid a Ruler of the Land they are in, to see his wife. Therefore, if it was to happen to you, you would always have me to confide in, and I assure you that you would not stay a moment longer with a man that did that to you, I would personally make sure of it. My daughter, have no fear, it will not happen to you."

"But what if he leaves and makes me go?" The risks were too great and wished she did not have to marry but the problem was that she was of such a pretty age, that it was inevitable.

"I would send an escort of guards with you. They would be ordered to stand near you, and have you in sight always if I feared that a husband you took, would hurt you. I have no fear, Daughter, You are strong and that will take care of you. Do not doubt, your father and I as well as your brothers will be here for you."
She looked at her daughter, and saw the small fear she held deep inside. Her daughter had no reason to fear...

Tindomiel smiled and hugged her mother. "Thank you Naneth." She smiled softly.

She smiled and embraced her daughter gratefully, "As long as you know yout family is here for you, you will always have strength. You may not always have your father and I, but you will always have you, and independence will teach you how to control your inner strength and will teach you to rely on yourself. No man is needed to make your life, cause more likely he won't be there when you need him."

Tindomiel nodded. "One more thing, if I'm married, you said he could take my virgin body, that also means he could get me pregnant..." She said worriedly.

She nodded, "Yes that is true, alas I never gave my first husband a child, did I?" she took a sneaky look at Elros, "Yet I will tell you more of that, when you and I are alone."
Yes having children was a scary thought, but once they were there, living, your love for them was strong... and if you were to loose one, it would almost feel as if you lost yourself..

Tindomiel nodded. "Perhaps you could tell me tonight in my room." She said, knowing what she meant when she gestured to her father.

Elros listened and suddenly looked a little worrid when she said she wasent sure if she had a child with her first husband, it made him worry but kept silent and still listened to what they said..he took some water to calm down and then went to the door to talk with the guard that stood outside while they talked.

"If you wish it," she smiled. These were for women and women to know only, so she had to keep it going, didn't she? She looked at her daughter, "If you do fall with child, it is meant to be. You will grow to love any child you harbor."

"How do you know? I heard some women have children against their will, and to men they are not married to." She said, referring to rape.

"I have had children, and I love them," she smiled reffering to her children, "I love them as much as I love the ocean," which was a compliment, for her love of the sea was great, "Yes women fall with child against their will, but the child is of their blood. They carried the child for 9 months or less, and they are apart of them. Just because the father was a brute does not make a woman loose her love for the child. I know this, because that is how I came to this earth."

"What do you mean she asked curiously." Tindomiel knew very little of her mother's past. Mostly because she never asked but also, her mother was the quiet type. Then she thought of how uncomfortable this conversation had to be and she sniled at the thought.

Anarane looked at her daughter, "to make better sense of it, my birth was against my mother's will," her past was very dark and negative, something she had hardly ever spoken of. She had never wanted to reveal it before, though she found speaking about it, a way to be rid of it.
