Some time later Aelin wandered up to Lord Gildor's house. She had decided to visit some places in Numenor as she never had been out of Andúnie, so she started in the nearest city, in Eldalonde. She came by Lord Gildor's house by pure chance, and she walked up to the door, knocked and waited for someone to answer the door.

Gildor heard the knocking sound as he woke up, he walked downstairs towards the door and then he opened it."Well hello, Ms. Aëlin." Gildor said while bowing.

'Good day, my lord!" Aëlin said while bowing. She then looked up to him again and noticed that he somehow looked tired. "I do hope that I did not disturb you?" she then asked him.

Aëlin nodded and then stepped a bit closer. "Well, if you don't mind, I really would like to!" she said smiling and slowly walked into the room behind the door.

Aëlin looked around, she wondered which of the rooms would be the Room of The Sun. She then answered his question. "Maybe one glass of water?" she said while moving towards one of the rooms.

In the meantime Aëlin sat down in one chair near the wall and waited for him to come back. "Thank you very much, my lord!" she said and stood up again when he entered the room as well.

"Well you are my guest are you not?" Gildor said to Aëlin while he was walking towards his comfy chair, "So what bring you to my humble lair Aëlin?" Gildor asked Aëlin as he looked upwards towards the sun which glowed on Aëlin and Gildor.

"Oh, actually I have to admit that I didn't came here on any purpose." Aëlin said while smiling at him. "I just decided to get out of Andunie, as I have never been anywhere else! So I just began to walk and my feet took me to Eldalonde."

"That would be great!" Aëlin said surprised. " This is a good idea, my lord, then I wouldn't have to travel all on my own. I really would enjoy your company." she said but then thought for one moment. " But don't you have too much to do to leave Eldalonde for a long time?" she asked him.

"Not at the moment, i can let Syvyan, my right hand rule Eldalondë while i am gone." Gildor said to Aëlin."I can't let you be alone, someone might try to kill you and then i wouldn't forgive my self." Gildor said to Aëlin.
